Reference ID's

Reference ID's are a useful tool for grouping and organizing large amounts of data.

Reference ID’s Main Page

The “Reference ID’s” button allows you to view and edit the reference ID’s and aliases associated with your company. The main page shows a list of your reference ID’s with columns noting the ID number, the ID description, and the ID category.

The "delete" button in the options column on the far right will permanently delete a reference ID from your company's list of available reference ID's.

The Print Tab

The “Print” tab allows you to print one or more barcodes that represent individual reference ID’s. This barcode printout can be used at distribution and logistics centers to quickly link a trip with a specific reference ID.

Use the check boxes in the far-left column of the main page to select one or more reference ID’s. Once selected, click the “Print” tab to download a printable list of the selected barcodes.

The Add New Tab

The “Add New” tab allows you to add new reference ID’s to your company. Clicking this tab will open a menu with several reference ID options.

First, select whether you would like to make a custom reference ID number or if you would like to have one auto generated. If a custom number is desired, use the text field to enter in your custom reference ID number.

Next, select the ID category with the category drop-down menu below the ID number field. You can also select "Add New Category" inside the drop-down menu to add a new category to your company.

Finally, add any desired descriptions for the reference ID and select the save button to save the reference ID to your company’s profile.

The Alias Tab

The “Alias” tab allows you to re-label, or “alias,” any of the standard TempTrip data columns. To re-label a column, enter the alias into the corresponding text field and click the “Save” button. Each alias can be a maximum of 30 characters per line. A two-line label can be created by inserting a space where you wish the line break to occur.
