Temperature Monitoring
In-Transit
In-transit monitoring is the most common use case of TempTRIP systems. Shipment receivers require that suppliers place temperature monitors on all loads. TempTRIP provides this temperature monitoring with easy-to-use Bluetooth temperature loggers. Loggers are placed in a carton or directly on the product and stay with the shipment for its entire trip. Upon arriving at a guard gate or distribution center the logger is wirelessly read by a TempTRIP reader, and the data is automatically connected to the shipper and receiver's TempTRIP account. After use the TempTRIP loggers can be returned to a TempTRIP logistics center for recycling.
Closed-Loop
Closed loop monitoring is very similar to In-transit monitoring in the way TempTRIP monitors the temperature of shipments, however in this case a single company has control of the shipping process from beginning to end. This allows a company to retrieve and re-use loggers, which in turn keeps monitoring costs extremely low.
Facility Monitoring
TempTRIP's Bluetooth loggers can also be used to monitor various facilities such as warehouses, stores, restaurants, server rooms, or any other facility needing temperature or humidity monitoring. A few readers and some strategically placed loggers can easily cover the stored product of an entire facility. TempTRIP's data management system also allows the use of targeted reporting and alarms to assist in managing a facility.
