App Settings

Log Interval - Changes the intervals at which the data is logged, or how much time is in between each data point. Logging intervals are at a default time of 10 minutes but can be configured from as little as 1 second to as much as 1 day.

Silence Time - Changes how long tags are “silenced” after being scanned by the app. Silenced tags are invisible to the app and other temptrip readers until being unsilenced. This helps distinguish between recently read tags and unread tags. The default time is set at 7200 seconds (2 hours) but be edited to fit your specific needs. A silenced tag can be unsilenced early by pressing and holding the button on the tag until the tag LED flashes four times.

Time to Scan - Changes the amount of time the app looks for tags available to be scanned. The default scan time is 10 seconds. Does the edge reader function use this as how often it scans for tags?

Amount of Data to Read - Changes the maximum amount of data that will be read by the app. Tags with less than the maximum amount of data logged will transfer all available data to the app. When/Who would want to change this? Correct that most tags are on trips for a few days max?

Temperature Display - Toggles between showing in-app temperatures as Celsius or Fahrenheit.

View Data Refresh Rate - Changes the time in minutes for how often the view data screen refreshes. The default time is set at 1 minute. What does refreshing view data do? Is this for already scanned tags or for searching for tags?

Number of Records to Display - Changes the number of trips shown on the view data page in the app. The default is set to 25 trips but can be set anywhere between 1 and 50.

Results Display - Toggles whether or not data is shown as detailed or simplified data. Simplified Data will show ___. Detailed data will show ____. Need to confirm differences between the two

Apply Reader ID Filter - Not sure what this one does. ALSO End2End app shows “Off” for both switch positions

Location Mode - Changes between Stationary and Mobile mode, which affects how often the app looks for a GPS coordinate. In stationary mode the app will get GPS coordinates once and then cache the value for future use. In Mobile mode the app will get fresh GPS coordinates every time it scans for tags. The stationary mode is useful for tablets/phones that are always in the same location, like a warehouse. The mobile mode is useful for tablets/phones that are in a vehicle, like a semi-truck or delivery van.

Preferred Orientation - Changes the orientation of the main menu between portrait view and landscape view. BUG: the only time landscape orientation works is after changing to “landscape” preferred and opening the view data menu, then returning to the home screen. Opening any other feature changes the home menu back to portrait. Opening any feature after setting to landscape and viewing data will also set the home menu back to portrait.

Preferred TagID Input Mode - Changes the default mode of entering a tag ID into the app between Camera and Keyboard. The camera setting allows a barcode or QR code to be scanned using the tablet/phone camera. The keyboard setting will prompt the user to manually enter a tagID using the keyboard. Printer Connection - Changes what connection the app will use to try and connect to a printer. The USB setting is for a corded usb connection to a printer, the bluetooth setting allows for wireless bluetooth connection to a printer. Probably need a guide on how to connect a printer to the app.
